How Can We Say We Love God, If We Don't Obey Him?
What Does 'Love' Mean?
A child can say 'I love you' to a parent all day long. But without obedience behind it, the statement is void of all meaning. A child that is obedient however, yet never proclaims it, will display more love for that parent than any words could ever relay. It is the same with God, "For this is the love of God, that we keep his commandments..." 1 John 5:3. In this understanding we find what 'Love' really means.
